ORDERS OPEN EVERY SUNDAY AT 9AM EST ♥
FAQs
How do I place an order?
Butterhaus operates on a weekly ordering schedule to ensure every cookie is baked fresh just for you.
Orders open every Sunday at 9:00 AM EST and close Wednesday at 12:00 PM EST (or sooner if we sell out). Simply visit our website during the ordering window, choose your favorite flavors, and check out.
Your cookies will be freshly baked and ready for pickup or shipping the following Sunday. If you miss this week's order window, don't worry—we'll be back the next Sunday with a fresh menu and a new batch of cookies.
When will my order be ready/ship?
We freshly bake our cookies once a week and have them ready every Sunday.
We offer local pickup at a designated time on Sundays. If you aren't local, your order will be shipped the the following Monday after your order is placed. If Monday is a holiday, orders will ship on the following Tuesday.
If you need your cookies shipped sooner, please reach out to us before ordering to see if we can coordinate a special order.
When will I receive my order?
If you didn't opt for local pick-up on Sunday, we ship orders out every Monday. Exact delivery date will depend on your exact location but most orders should be delivered via USPS within 2-5 business days.
You will receive a tracking number as soon as it's on the way to you.
How can I receive my order?
We offer two options for you to receive your cookies. You can choose to have them shipped directly to you or we can coordinate an in-person pickup within the Orlando, Florida area.
The location and time for pickup order are at the discretion of Butterhaus Bakery and will generally be within the Maitland/Winter Park Area. The exact details for the time and location of pickups will be provided a few days prior.
Why does my package include a Cottage Food disclaimer?
Butterhaus operates under Florida's Cottage Food Law, which allows certain foods to be prepared in a home kitchen and sold directly to customers. As required by state law, all of our products include a Cottage Food disclaimer on their packaging.
This label lets you know that our baked goods are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. While we're exempt from routine inspections under the Cottage Food Law, we take food safety, cleanliness, and quality seriously and follow careful handling and preparation practices with every batch we bake.
If you have any questions about our ingredients, baking process, or Florida's Cottage Food Law, feel free to reach out—we're always happy to help.
Do you often gluten or allergen-free options?
At this time, Butterhaus does not offer gluten or allergen-free cookies. All of our products are made in a kitchen where wheat and other allergen-containing ingredients are regularly used, so we cannot guarantee that any item is free from cross-contact.
We're always exploring new flavors and offerings, so be sure to follow us for future menu updates and special releases!
